Ernest Jackson Good

Ernest J. Good, 84, of Shreveport passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Christus Grace Home after a short battle with cancer. He was born on October 17, 1932 in Texarkana, Arkansas to David Ernest Good and Clora Carlyle. Ernest was an industrial painter and retired from Southern Fabricators and The City of Shreveport. He was a member of Countryside Christian Church and enjoyed spending his time bowling, playing golf and motorcycling. He was a man of many talents but could always make something work or fit. He was preceded in death by his wife; Colleen Marie Robinson Good and his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son; David Good and wife Nell, brother; John Mose Good, grandchildren; Michael D. Good, Daniel Lynn Good and wife Linda, Brayden David-Turner Good, Lacy Marie Good and Michael Horn Jr., and David Horn. Great Grandchildren; Brayden, Jason Jr, and Samuel many nieces, nephews and various family members. A Visitation is being held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Forest Park Funeral Home Wellman Chapel, Service at 12:00 PM followed by interment at Forest Park West Cemetery.
