Elizabeth Daughtry Bossier City, LA Funeral services for Elizabeth LaCour Daughtry, 90 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Forest Park Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Doyle Bailey, also assisted by Rev. Charles Middleton and Mr. Scott Anderson. Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery, Meriwether Road. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Mrs. Daughtry was born November 27, 1925 in Natchitoches, Louisiana to the late Armand LaCour and Docia Lestage LaCour. She entered into rest Monday, April 25, 2016 at Willis Knighton Pierremont after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, M.B. Daughtry, Jr.; two sisters; one brother and granddaughter, Stacy Ybos Sanders. Left to treasure her many memories are her daughters, Pam Ybos; Cindy Friday and husband Richard; one sister, Effie Cook; grandchildren, Stephanie Anderson (Scott), Angela Friday-Benfield (Johnny), James B. Friday (Kady), Kyle Estep (Cindi), Jeff Friday (Jeannie), Jennifer Jones (Bryan); great grandchildren, Elijah Anderson, Dayton Friday, Rylee J. Friday, Morgan, Kaylie and Laurlie Estep, Zachary and Rebecca Friday, Skylar Whittington and Charles Benfield. Also her extended family; Melanie Barnes, Genevieve Bowers, Casey Reed and their daughter Kayten, Nahowan Saxton, Abraham Saxton and Shadrach Roome. Pallbearers will be Kenny McDaniel, Nawon Saxton, Abraham Saxton, Kasey Reed, Darien Scott, Clarence Ybos and Robin Vosbury. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Rayburn and Billy Kneipp. In memory of Mrs. Daughtry, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to any charity of donor's choice.
