Elizabeth Carlson

Elizabeth ""Betty"" Carlson joined her husband at the Lord's Table on Wednesday June 4, 2014 after a brief but hard fought battle with cancer. She loved her church, her family, and her Nascar. She will be missed by her children, Terri Alombro and husband Jerry of Shreveport, and Randy Carlson of Dallas; grandchildren; Christine Frazier and husband John of Bossier, Joshua Carlson of Dallas; great-grandchildren; brother Charles Hassinger and wife Cheryl of Kansas, and many wonderful friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Stephen Carlson. They are together again after 17 years. The family would like to thank Willis Knighton staff, Life care staff, and Grace Home staff for helping her and the family through this journey. Services for Mrs. Carlson will be held Saturday, June 7th, 2014 at 9:00 am in the Wellman's Memorial Chapel at Forest Park Funeral Home. Internment will immediately follow on the grounds of Forest Park West Cemetery. Family would like to welcome friends and family for visitation Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Forest Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Grace Home of Shreveport.
