Dorothy DeLane Bonnette Meacham Born March 11, 1924 in Panola County, TX Passed away January 2, 2014 Services will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave., Shreveport, LA 71101. Eve Visitation will be held Monday, January 6, 2014, in the Magnolia State Room from 6pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2014 in The Wellman's Memorial Chapel at 11:00am. We will also hold a visitation prior to the Funeral service from 10:00am -11:00am. A Graveside service will take place immediately following at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Shreveport until 2005, when she moved to Spring, TX. She was preceeded in death by her loving husband, Denne E. Meacham, Mother, Maggie Mae Bonnette, father, Hector DeLane Bonnette, and son, Vernon J. Butler, Jr. Surviving her in death are her children, DeLane Spriggs of Austin, TX, Donnie Meacham of Stanley, LA, and Denise Cannon of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Tia Sanders, Christopher Spriggs, Justin Meacham, Jeoffrey Meacham, Courtney Cannon, and Cody Cannon; and brothers, Jack Bonnette and Gilbert Bonnette; along with multiple great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
