Doris Ann Gandy Of Shreveport

Doris Davlin Gandy, 87, went to reunite with her beloved husband on March 26, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Milton G. Gandy, her parents, brothers, sisters, and son. Carrying on her memory is her daughter, Doris Ann Gray and husband Bill of Shreveport, LA,; step-son, Dewayne and wife Sevon Gandy of Angier, NC; step-daughters, Glenda Steadman and husband, Gene; and Wanda Gandy of Shreveport, LA; granddaughter, Elizabeth Carroll of Monroe, LA; grandson Micah Jones and wife, Ashley of Shreveport, LA; three great grand children all of Shreveport, LA, Randy Carroll, Chelsea Jones, and Chase Jones; along with many numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Doris was a longtime member of the Midway Church of Christ of Shreveport, LA. She was a devoted mother and Mawmaw. In her younger days, she loved to sew and garden. Visitation will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave., in Wellman's Memorial Chapel on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Forest Park Funeral Home at 11:00am. Interment will follow services at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA.
