Doris Mounger

Doris C. Mounger passed away, Monday, August 28, 2017 at Live Oak Nursing Home in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born January 30, 1922 in Coffeeville, Kansas to Chauncy Dexter Clark and Charlotte Leigh Burns Clark. She will be remembered for her love of music and dancing. She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Joseph Henry Mounger Jr., and her parents. Mrs Mounger is survived by five children , Roland lee Hamm, Carolyn sue Williams, Debra Thompson, Joseph Michael Mounger, and Kenneth Robert Mounger. She has numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank all the loving thoughtful staff at Live Oaks Nursing home for their continued support. A Visitation is being held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Forest Park Funeral Home's Wellman Chapel from 10:00 AM to 10:59 AM Services to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Forest Park West Cemetery.
