Doris Mccoy Martin

Doris McCoy Martin, age 71, a disabled woman who worked many jobs, died on February 8, 2023, at her home in Shreveport. She was born on December 8, 1951, in Shreveport, LA, to William Neil Gibson and Doris M. Gibson. She lived most of her life in Shreveport and attended many schools and some college.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Lov McCoy; son, William Neil Richardson; parents, William Neil Gibson and Doris Mildred Gibson; and her sisters, Martha Tucker and Sandra Hoff.

Doris is survived by her children, Martha Wilson, Carrie Christy, and Rachel Mayfield; grandchildren, Rebeckah Haug, Chloe Haug, Elias Deleon Jr., Maria Bradford, Sara Jaffar, Somara Jaffar, and Brittany Hatchell; her brother, Larry Gibson; numerous great-grandchildren; and special support animal, Tinky Winky.
