Debora Ann Fike

Debbi Fike, 61 years young, went to heaven on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Willis Knighton in Bossier City, Louisiana surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 21, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by her two daughters, Jaimi Hergenrader and husband, Steven, and Ricci Young and husband, Matthew. She was a grandmother "Gram" to Harper Lilly, Nolan, Ezra James and one on the way and a "Gram" to so many others. She is also survived by two sisters, Cyndi Thornton and husband, Steve and Becky Chappell and husband, Tommy. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, parents; Edna and Jimmy Rogers, father; Henrie Greenway and step-mother, Helen and her lifelong friend of 42 years, BJ Bird. She loved to tell jokes, and enjoyed helping people. She loved unconditionally and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed being outdoors and fishing, traveling with her sister, and playing and loving on her grandchildren. Debbi had a passion for animals and birds, she was always rescuing something whether it was a friend, furry friend or fowl. She loved her parrots that she had for 42 years BJ Bird and Fred. She will be missed deeply by her two doggy companions, Little Bit and Snow. The visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Forest Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday, at 11:00 AM, January 20, 2018. Dr. H. Murry Hodge will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West.
