Darrien D'Shoun Bryant was born September 4, 1989 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Nicole Bryant. In 2007, he graduated from Logansport High School where he was the Drum Major for the Tiger Marching Band. Upon graduating from LHS, he attended Panola College in Carthage, Texas earning an Associate degree in Chorale Music Education on December 11, 2009. From there, Darrien went on to Texas A&M University-Commerce. Thereafter, he began pursuing a degree in Vocal Music Education from the University of Louisiana Monroe. While there, Darrien was a member of the ULM Interdenominational Ensemble (IDE) under the direction of Mr. Louis Adams Nabors Jr. (deceased). Darrien accepted Christ at an early age. While attending church at Whites Temple Church of God in Christ under the Pastoral leadership of Superintendent McClendon Windbush, his love for music began at the age of 5 watching his grandmother play the organ and direct the choir. As he grew, a deep passion to pursue the desire of musicianship enhanced. He began his minister of music endeavors while attending the St. Peter Church of God in Christ-Pastor Dwight Gatlin, Sr. Then on to House of Refuge Ministries-Bishop William E. Nash; Mitchel Chapel-Superintendent Dr. Nelson Gatlin and finally Word of Deliverance Family Life Church-Pastor Tommy Nard, Sr. and Co-Pastor Kimberly Nard. He leaves to cherish his mother, Nicole Bryant. Grandmother, Margaret Bryant. Three (3) sisters, Rachiln, Reagan, and Reanitra Harris. An Aunt Quantina Gatlin (Pastor Dwight Gatlin, Sr.), Three (3) uncles, Reginald G. Bryant, Sr. (Tilisha), Marland Bryant, and Lenzy Bryant III (Kasey). 7 special cousins-Tranika Holland, Shatina Brook-Wilson (Isaiah), Raiyawna Gatlin, Lamar Brooks, Dobrielle Gatlin, Gregory Brooks, Dwight Gatlin, Jr. and one special grandmother, Rosemary Harris.
