Dan Emanuel Wilson

Dan Wilson, 76, of Shreveport was entrusted to God's care on Sunday, February 1, 2015. He was born March 23, 1938 to Homer and Lillie Wilson. Mr. Wilson is a graduate of Washington High School. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a proud member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and retired Deacon after many years of service. Mr. Wilson was also a fantastic artist. He will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Cole Fields. Left to cherish his memories will be his wife, Lula Wilson; Sons, Tony Ray Wilson, Dan E. Wilson Jr., Calvin W. Cole, Daniel Wayne Cole, George W. Cole, Alvin W. Cole; Daughters, Jennette Wilson Scott, Cynthia Gail Wilson, Shirley Cole Lawrence of Huntsville; Brothers, Pedro Wilson, Kayweldon Wilson, Sanjuan Wilson, Marvin Ray Wilson, and Bobby Wilson all of Shreveport. Sisters, Joyce Ann Wilson McMillian Rev. Frank McMillan, Maxine Wilson, and Elsie Wilson Mitchel all of Shreveport; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers are Rev. Alvin Cole, Porfirio Chinchillas, Eric Wayne Hill, Christopher Lamar Hill, Daniel Wayne Cole, and Calvin Wayne Cole. Family would like to welcome guests for visiation Friday, Feb. 6 from 5-7 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will continue Saturday, Feb. 7 at 9 am until time of service at 11 am.
