Dan Dupont

Dan Dupont, age 91 of Shreveport passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Avenue in Shreveport. Graveside services will be at Rose-Neath Cemetery on Swan Lake Road in Bossier at 11am, Tuesday, January 14, 2013. Mr. Dupont was the commercial fisherman, owner and operator of Dupont's Fish Market since 1944. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elzia; one son, Paul, daughter, Vallie and grandson, Justin. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Daniel Dupont, Don Dupont, Ben Dupont; daughters, Julie Wynn, Dianne Harville, Mary Harville, Linda Bickham, Fay Pierce, Shelia Jo Evans, Debbie Dupont & Donna Dupont; 36 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren. He was a loving, hard-working, honest and very loving Daddy and Papaw that will be greatly missed by family and friends.
