Dale Marland Bradford Shreveport, L.A.- Funeral services for Dale M. Bradford, 79, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2017 at Forest Park Funeral Home. Officiating will be Jimmy Eppinette, and Pastor Jack Anderson. Internment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the funeral home. Mr. Bradford went to rest with the Lord on Friday, October 20, 2017 surrounded by his dear family. He was born in Muskogee, Okla., on November 25, 1937, was a U.S. Army Veteran and Master Plumber and has been a longtime resident of Shreveport. Dale was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Eula Bradford. His wife of 47 years Paulette. His brothers and sisters, Lucile, Vallerie, Lee Jr., Ben, Vernon, and Donald. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Leigh. His son, Tim Bradford and wife Korennia; his daughters Marie Payne and husband David, Lottie Grice and husband Sid; step-son Mike Bradford and Wife Tammy; step-son Donny Bradford ; his brothers Bill and Dan; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters in-law Maybeth and Doris; brother in-law Paul Iles Jr. and wife Phyllis; and numerous nephews and nieces. Dale was a devoted husband, father, grand-father, brother, and patriot. He spent a life time traveling and working all over the United States. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, throwing horseshoes and watching NASCAR races. He adored his dogs Lucky 1, 2, and 3. He loved to spend time on the Black Cypress Bayou River and Caddo Lake. Dale had a charisma about him that everyone was drawn to. He was known by many as "Uncle Dale" or "Poppy" and was truly loved by everyone. Honoring him as pallbearers will be his beloved grandchildren; Jesse, Kyra, and Josh Bradford, Christopher and Nicholas Payne, Christopher Grice; and nephew Pete Bradford.
