Constance ""Connie"" Aline Griffin Memorial Services for Constance ""Connie"" Aline Griffin, 73, will be held at Walnut Baptist Church, Vivian, LA on a later determined date. Connie was born to Sybil Louise Hale and Arthur Moreland Lovelace, Jr. on June 25, 1943 in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on November 29, 2016, in Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport, LA. Connie worked mostly in the deli portions of Wal Mart and Grocery Stores. She retired and moved to Vivian, LA where she developed a host of friends. Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply and forever missed. Connie was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church of Vivian, LA. She mostly enjoyed people and was forever on the road assisting and helping those for whom she cared. Connie was preceded in Death by her Grandmother; Sadie E Hale (whom she adored); Mother, Sybil L Griffin; Biological Father, Arthur Moreland Lovelace, Jr; Adopted Father; Dell Nowlin Griffin, Sr.; and Stepsister; Betty Boze. Connie is survived by four children: Jessica Aline Williams and husband Scott Williams; Terry James Marceaux; Jessie Joseph Corley; and Kenneth Daniel Corley; brother, Dell Nowlin Griffin, Jr; sisters, Dorothy Jean Lambing and husband Glenn; Ellinor Jeannen Whittington; Lillie Rene Johnson and husband Tommy; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who were very special to her. The family would also like to give special thanks to the CCU of Willis-Knighton Hospital located at Greenwood/Hearne for their excellent care of our loved one and support and thoughtfulness in such a difficult time for the family.
