Clinton Ray Hardy, a devoted father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 12, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on June 11, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Clinton lived a life filled with dedication service, marked by his years as a respected building inspector for the City of Shreveport.

He completed his education at John Phillip Sousa Memorial High School. Clinton’s professional career was underscored by his commitment to ensuring the safety and integrity of buildings throughout the city, earning him the respect of colleagues and community members alike. Beyond his career, Clinton had a passion for sports and leisure activities. He enjoyed baseball, golfing, and bowling, pursuits that brought him joy and relaxation throughout his life. 

Clinton is survived by his beloved daughters, Jeannie Isom and Michelle Webb, and his son, Bryan Hardy. He took great pride in being a grandfather to Jenna Isom, Livvy Isom, Zechariah Webb, Ruth Webb, Claudia Webb, Faith Hardy, Ryan Hardy, Jonathan Hardy, Rylan Candey, and Leigha Signorile. His family was a source of immense joy and pride for him, and his legacy will undoubtedly live on through their memories and achievements. Clinton is also survived by his beloved pet, Doc.

He was preceded in death by his loving spouse, Katherine Rita Hardy, who was a constant support in his life. Clinton also mourned the loss of his parents, Joseph Clinton Hardy Jr. and Katherine Koch Hardy, as well as one sister and one brother.
