Christine Faye Morris

Christine Faye Aulds Morris, 78, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Ochsner LSU Health Center, Shreveport, Louisiana, following a short illness. Christine was born on Wednesday, August 22, 1945, in Winnsboro, Louisiana, to the late Howard and Willie Mae Walker Aulds. She was a member of The Acts Church/Calvary Pentecostal Church in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; Steve Byron Morris, one daughter; Jan Toothman, one brother; Jimmie Aulds, and one sister; Lena Mae Stokes.

Left to cherish Christine’s beautiful memories are two daughters: Rebekah Gates and partner David, Ann Peavy and fiancé Roger, two sons: Mark Morris, Jodel Morris and wife BB, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to St. Joseph Hospice, mothers sweet nurses: Brittany, Taylor, Ashlee, and Dr. Bilal Nasir of Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, The Acts Church/Calvary Pentecostal Church family and friends for all the professional care, prayers, and condolences.

Honoring Christine as pallbearers will be David Renfro II, Roger Richard, Jesse Richard, Andrew Bolton, Rily Peavy, Toby Peavy, John Aulds, and Thomas Stokes. Honorary pallbearers are Seth Peak, John Sacker, Timmy Clark, and J. B. Meshell.

The family will be receiving guests for visitation on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the Celebration of Life service for Christine at 11:00 AM, in the sanctuary of The Acts Church formerly known Calvary Pentecostal Church, 6935 Greenwood Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71119 with Pastor Andy Daniels officiating.

Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71109 under the direction of Forest Park Funeral Home.
