Carl Fred Schmidt

Carl Fred Schmidt of Shreveport, LA passed away Tuesday, June, 2, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Sue Schmidt, daughter; Dedra Deanne Schmidt. Survived by, son; Tracy Schmidt, of Pensacola, FL. Sister; Sandra Wright and husband Brown of Maryville, TN, grandson; Nicholas Schmidt of Bryant, AR. and granddaughter; Paige Schmidt of Bryant, AR., Nephew; Burt Chandler and wife Susan of Birmingham, AL., niece; Valree Chambers and husband Chris of Pike Road, AL. Carl is a graduate of Byrd High School, He served in the United States Air Force with two tours in Vietnam, he loved fishing and was a proud carpenter and made beautiful cabinets. He had several lifelong personal friends. He was a great father, grandfather and friend. He will truly be missed.
