Betty Ross

Betty Annette Pease Ross, born Jan. 25, 1930 in Gray/Hartzo, Tx., died June 12, 2017, Shreveport, La. Finished high school in Vivian, La., in 1949. Worked in the oil and gas industry, retiring from Wheeless Drilling Co. in 1990. Instrumental in helping establish the Red River Desk and Derrick Club in 1982. Preceded in death by an infant son, parents R. Eldridge and Florence Pease, brother R.E. ‘Bob' Pease, and sister Hortense Pease Davis. Survived by daughter Eugenia Adams (Juny), of Shreveport, Grandchildren Pam Howard of Nashville, TN., and Richard ‘Todd' Howard (Sharon), Great Grandchildren Taylor and Hanna Howard, all of Belcher, La., one sister Minnie Ida Pease Bingaman (Charles), of Abilene, Tx., and one brother John Edward Pease (Judy) of Hughes Springs, Tx.
