Barbara G. Richards

Barbara G. Richards, age 89, died on December 30, 2021, in Shreveport, LA. She was born on December 3, 1932, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Warren W. Grube and Gertrude Grube. Barbara spent many years on the tennis court at Pierremont Oaks Country Club. She was known for having a very effective lob which won her many points. She also enjoyed hosting her bridge club. Her culinary skills showed her talent in the kitchen and never disappointed her family and friends. She took immense pride in teaching her granddaughters how to make her Pennsylvania Apple Pie. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Gertrude; her first husband, Donald C. Richards Jr. (1993); her second husband, A.D. Brannan (2014); and her sister, Marilyn Grube Palmer (2018). She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Richards Brown (Charles); son, Donald C. Richards III (Kim); granddaughters, Elizabeth Richards Krebs and Katherine Ann Richards; and great-grandson, Jackson Clark Krebs.
