Barbara Maranto Lefebvre Of Shreveport, La

Barbara Maranto LeFebvre was born November 3, 1937 and passed away May 13, 2014 at the age of 76. She was a Shreveport native. Barbara's family was her life and treasured spending her time with them. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Outside of spending time with her family, Barbara enjoyed ""The Simple Things In Life"". She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry LeFebvre. Left to cherish her legacy will be her sons, Charles LeFebvre of Shreveport, La, Christopher LeFebvre of Winnfield, La. Daughters, Pamela and husband Lloyd Gilcrease of Greenwood, La, Frances Hall and fianc Danny Lafitte of Shreveport, La, Kimberly and husband Joey Norment of Pineville, La.; Sisters, Beth McInnis and Judy Dotterweigh; Grandsons, Josh and wife Kristen Gilcrease of Bossier City, La, Ryan Hall and fianc Amber Potter of Keithville, La, Brandon Hall of Greenwood, La, Troy Norment of Pineville, La. Granddaughters, Valerie Norment and fianc Christopher Bruce of Luling, La, Sarah Gilcrease and fianc Shaun Kidd of Greenwood, La, Kaylee Jo Norment, Pineville, La; Great-grandchildren, Landon Hall and Logan Hall; and a host of wonderful extended family and friends. Services for Barbara will be Friday, May 16, 2014 at Forest Park Funeral Home in Shreveport, La. Family will welcome guests for visitation at 10 am until time of service at 1:00pm. Officiating the service will be Chaplin Kevin Arinder. The family of Barbara LeFebvre would like to extend our appreciation to Ms. Sherri, Barbara's incredible hospice nurse. Additionally, we would like to express our gratitude to the many others that touched her life.
