Anna Rachel (Rhodes) Carnline

Our beloved Anna Rachel (Rhodes) Carnline passed away on August 6th, 2025, at the age of 41 after a short battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Anna was born in Mesa Arizona on December 1st, 1983, to Jim and Rayma Rhodes. She graduated from Apache Junction High School where she participated in choir and various clubs. During that time, she developed a love for singing and music that would continue throughout her life. After high school and some college, she worked in medical administration for a while. Always challenging herself to try new avenues. Anna discovered that with her compassion, patience and confidence, she was a wonderful instructor and became a corporate trainer where she thrived and excelled. It was along this path that she met her true love and husband, Todd Carnline. Although married for only six years, Anna and Todd were inseparable for more than twenty. After moving to Shreveport LA and with her career on track, she chose perhaps the most challenging training job of all, motherhood. Anna approached being a mother with absolute dedication. With an abundance of tenderness, devotion and love that was unwavering. Always being a source of comfort and strength. Being so natural to nurturing, it was no surprise that one of her hobbies was growing and caring for plants. Family and friends always viewed her as the “Go to” person for advice. Her ability to raise orchids has always been inspiring.

All who new Anna relied on her advice, humor and fun-loving spirit. Her positivity has been a light for so many of us.

Anna is preceded by her mother Rayma Rhodes. She is survived by her husband, Todd Carnline. Son, Riggs Carnline. Father, Jim Rhodes. Mother, Debbie Rhodes and Siblings, Kaleigh and Justin Rhodes.
