Addie Youngblood

Addie Tauzin Youngblood was born on January 18, 1931, in Natchitoches, LA, and passed away peacefully at home on October 8, 2021, in Shreveport at the age of 90. Addie was preceded in her passing by her husband, Druery 'Ed' Youngblood; one son, Joe Edward Youngblood; 4 sisters; 3 brothers; and as she would put it, 'all the souls that went before her.' Addie is survived by one sister, Bessie McClain; one daughter, Joyce Roberts; one son, John R. (Deborah) Youngblood, Sr.; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of church family and friends. The celebration of her journey for the Lord will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 16 at Northview Assembly of God, 3627 N. Market St. in Shreveport, LA.
